Description

Our “Bernard” Pillows are made in Gavrinis (France) which is an island in the Gulf of Morbihan where eco-grazing sheep are raised.
Made in a single piece or in small series, these wool felt creations are designed with an ecological awareness.
Wool is of Breton sheep raised in eco-grazing. This extensive breeding method guarantees quality wool. No chemical agent intervenes in the life of animals, neither vaccines nor pesticides.
It is important for us to value the work of breeders and shepherds who are at the origin of fiber.
In addition, working with quality wool means highlighting a practice that maintains biodiversity, maintaining the coastline and protected areas.
Sorting, washing, carding (the wool farm) and felting are done in the manufacturers hamlet.
The objects are made in their workshops and in collaboration with an ESAT.

Wool is increasingly inviting itself into our interiors because it is a material that naturally limits the proliferation of mites. Felt combines tradition and modernity for people wishing to live on a daily basis with objects made with care in a natural material that does not cause allergy.
